The Thousand Springs Festival is being held again this weekend in the Hagerman Valley. This fun event that is in its 17th year features Idaho artistans, live music, food, beverages, fly fishing booth, activities for the kids. The Ritter Island paradise and the surrounding waterfalls can also be enjoyed on wagon rides and canoeing. Come visit the Hagerman Valley and this special treat that it offers anually. Gooding County Labor Profile

The Idaho Department of Labor reports in their Gooding County Profile that “the improvement in the unemployment rate and civilian labor force has been remarkable in Gooding County over the last 10 years.” Their charts indicate that the Gooding County unemployment rate for August 2009 is 6.4 which is 2.4% below the 8.8% rate for the State of Idaho
